FAQ

What are Barne slippers made from?

Barne Stockholm slippers are handcrafted from repurposed Kilim rugs. These vintage rugs often carry decades of history and artisan craftsmanship, which we preserve by transforming them into unique slippers.

Are all pairs truly unique?

Yes. Each pair is cut from a different section of the Kilim, meaning no two pairs are ever exactly the same. Every slipper has its own pattern and character.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, Barne Stockholm offers worldwide shipping! Delivery times vary depending on your location. Please be aware that shipments sent outside the EU may be subject to customs duties and import fees charged by your local customs office.

Where are the slippers made?

All Barne slippers are handmade in a small family run workshop in central Istanbul by skilled artisans who specialize in traditional Kilim craftsmanship.

Can I wear Barne slippers outdoors?

Our slippers are mainly intended for indoor use. If you’d like to wear them outside, adding an extra sole will help protect them and make them last longer.

How do Barne slippers fit?

Barne slippers are true to EU sizing. Choose your normal size. Please note that the slippers will become roomier over time as they soften and adjust to your feet.
